Private Beta terms

Prismark Systems / Lexicon Private Beta. Last updated June 2026.

Introduction

These terms govern your access to and use of the Lexicon Strategy Research Platform (SRP) from Prismark Systems, currently in Private Beta ("the Beta"). By applying for, receiving, or using Beta access, you agree to these terms.

Lexicon is research software only. It is not financial advice, not a trading signal service, not a broker, and not a live execution venue. By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept this.

Beta access

Access to Lexicon is granted solely at the discretion of the Prismark Systems team. It is not available through self-serve signup. Applications are reviewed manually.

Approval

  • Access is granted by invitation only after manual review of your application
  • Your invitation includes access instructions and beta expectations

Suspension and removal

  • We may pause or remove your access at any time, for any reason, without notice
  • Reasons include: acceptable-use violations, inactivity, capacity management, or product changes
  • Removed access is not automatically reinstated

No guaranteed availability

  • The Beta may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues
  • We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted service
  • The product is being actively developed and validated

What Lexicon is — and is not

Lexicon is a no-code strategy research platform that lets you define trading setups and test them against historical data.

Lexicon IS

  • Research and backtesting software
  • A tool for defining, testing, and reviewing structured setup logic
  • A platform for historical analysis and educational review

Lexicon is NOT

  • Financial advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument
  • A trading signal service or alert system
  • A broker, execution venue, or account management service
  • A profit, performance, or outcome guarantee
  • A substitute for independent advice from a qualified professional

Results and performance

All outputs from the platform — including trade lists, metrics, equity curves, chart annotations, and analyses — are produced from user-supplied rules and historical data. They are for research review only.

Past performance of a backtested strategy is not indicative of future results. Backtesting is sensitive to rule formulation, data quality, slippage, fees, and market conditions. Any reported results reflect historical scenarios, not live trading.

Trading and investing involve significant risk of loss. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any setup is appropriate for your own situation. Prismark Systems is not responsible for trading decisions, losses, or outcomes resulting from the use of Lexicon.

Acceptable use

While you have Beta access, you agree to the following:

Do

  • Use the platform for your own research and review
  • Provide honest feedback about your experience
  • Keep your access credentials confidential
  • Contact us through proper channels if you encounter issues

Do not

  • Share your login credentials or grant access to others
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract the platform or its data
  • Use the platform to automate live trading or connect to brokerage accounts
  • Misrepresent your identity or intentions in your application
  • Use the platform for purposes outside of research and backtesting
  • Interfere with the platform, its infrastructure, or other users

Feedback

We encourage feedback during the Beta. Your feedback — including bug reports, feature suggestions, and usage notes — helps us improve the product.

By submitting feedback, you grant Prismark Systems a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the product or our internal processes. We do not claim ownership of your ideas, but we may implement similar functionality independently.

Feedback may be shared internally with the development team. We will not share your feedback publicly without your consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prismark Systems, its team members, and affiliates are not liable for:

Direct or indirect damages

  • Trading losses, missed opportunities, or financial harm
  • Data loss, service interruption, or platform errors
  • Decisions made based on platform outputs

Consequential or incidental damages

  • Lost profits, business interruption, or reputational harm
  • Costs of obtaining substitute services
  • Any other indirect or consequential losses

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and Beta programme evolve. Material changes will be communicated to active beta participants. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
